I still feel this is a great option for the price point (couldn’t figure out how to add this to my other review), and the customer service has been exceptional. However after trying to replace the filter for the first time with the standard hose system, I think it’s crazy that the ball valves that shut off water flow are an add on.
I damn near flooded my entire basement and ended up needing to drain the whole plunge trying to change the filter for the first time. I’m sure the ball valves and quick fit hoses are great quality as everything else has been, but people should be cautioned that the standard hose system leaves the system incredibly hard to replace the filter with no way to stop the water flow especially if you’re setting this up indoor it could cause serious water damage if you aren’t careful.
So far, so good. The white color gets some discoloration at the water level pretty quickly, which I can not seem to restore back to the original color, but it is great otherwise!
The internal chiller design intrigued me, and I realized this was not just another me-too brand. And if you happen to live in beautiful San Diego like I do, you can enjoy free white glove delivery and setup. I did experience some issues dialing in the water quality, but Jeff responded to every concern and request for guidance, and I finally am enjoying cold plunges in crystal clear water.
