Connect Your System

Connect your ORCA system to unlock full control through the mobile app.

Once connected, you can manage temperature, ozone, and system settings directly from your phone.

 

 

Install the App

Download the Smart Life – Smart Living app from the App Store.

  • Scan the QR code or search Smart Life – Smart Living

  • Download the app and create an account

An account is required to connect and operate your chiller.

 

 

Connect Your Chiller

Begin by unlocking the control panel on your chiller.

  • Slide up on the arrows located on the right side of the screen

  • Press Menu

  • Select WiFi Initialization (bottom right)

  • Tap Yes to confirm

 

Next, open the app:

  • Tap the “+” icon in the top right corner

  • Select Add Device

  • When your chiller appears, tap to connect

 

 

Connect to Your Network

Enter your WiFi credentials to complete setup.

  • Ensure your phone is connected to a 2.4GHz network

  • Enter your network name and password

  • Tap Next and allow the connection to complete

A green checkmark will appear once your device is successfully added.

 

 

Sync Time & Settings

Syncing your system ensures accurate scheduling and performance.

  • On the chiller, press Menu

  • Navigate to Date

  • Tap the Sync button in the top left corner

The time displayed on the chiller should now match the app.

Tap Back, then X, to return to the home screen.

 

 

Temperature Units

You can switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit directly from the control panel or mobile app. 

Control Panel

  • Press the gear icon (Function Setting) on the right side of the screen

  • Tap Set

  • Enter password: 666666, then press OK

  • Select Parameter Set

  • Use the left arrow at the bottom to navigate to Page 13

  • Tap Temp Scale Switching

  • Enter:

    • 1 for Fahrenheit

    • 0 for Celsius

     

  • Tap OK to confirm

  • Tap the red X in the top right to return to the home screen

 

Mobile App

  • Press the Set button on the chiller

  • In the app, tap the “F” icon (bottom right corner) to switch to Fahrenheit

  • Tap Back to return to the home screen
