Weekly Sanitation Protocol
1. Add Sirona oxidizer (hydrogen peroxide/ 2 ounces) directly to the tub, let it run through the system for 15 minutes.
2. Add Sirona sanitizer (salt based/ .5 ounces) to the tub and let it run through the system for 15 minutes.
3. Check the ph to ensure it is between 7.2-7.8. If so, you're done, and the tub is now sanitized. If your ph reading is outside of the above range, you will add a small amount of ph up or ph down to adjust the ph into the correct range (these products are also made by Sirona- Spa Up and Spa Down).
We suggest using a digital ph meter as test strips are hard to read. You will also want to change out your sediment filter regularly (every 2 weeks) to be sure that debris such as skin cells, hair, etc are removed from the plunge to prevent water flow issues.
